Local Readout Ground Station (LRGS)

The LRGS operates on three servers at WCDAS:

• CDADATA  : Direct feed from GOES demodulators with backup from CDABACKUP
• CDABACKUP  : Direct feed from GOES demodulators with backup from CDADATA
• DROT : DAPS-DOMSAT downlink with backup from CDADATA and CDABACKUP
• CDADADDS : DADDS-DOMSAT downlink. DOMSAT backup for DAPS (This Link Is Currently Not Available)

The servers all listen on port 16003 for client connections that use DDS (DCP Data Service) protocol. Below is an Interactive drawing showing the DCS system and the data flows.
